Welcome to the Los Banos Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Los Banos Tomato Festival
The Admission Free Los Banos Tomato Festival is coming!
Mark your calendar! The Los Banos Tomato Fest will be held on October 4th 2014 from 10 AM till 10 PM. It will be an admission free, family friendly, fun-filled day celebrating the amazing TOMATO.
The Tomato Festival has something for everyone; Take a class on how to make a gourmet meal; Compete with your peers to see how many tomatoes you can eat; Destroy your competition at the Cross-Fit Tomato Massacre or the Tug of War completion; View local art, shop local vendors; Eat, Drink and enjoy the music!

We have some old favorites coming back this year in addition to some new fun.
Interactive cooking demonstrations will be led this year by Chef Al, Kagome’s own Executive Chef and the Team of developers from Kagome’s Consumer Insights and Innovation department.
The Tomato festival has become well known for the wide variety of music and entertainment. Local bands, artist and groups will entertain festival patrons throughout the festival.
Your children will enjoy our Tomato Patch area featuring entertainment and fun for the little ones. For those more adventurous kids or for the kids at heart we are excited to announce that we are adding some carnival rides and games to our festival this year.

What is a Tomato festival without tomatoes? This year we are proud to announce our very own open air farmers market with a variety of different types of tomatoes. Of course we wouldn’t want our amazing fruit to be lonely so come and get your fill of other fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, chocolates, olive oil and honey.
Some of our country’s largest tomato processors are located in the Los Banos area. They play a vital part of our local economy and provide support to our farmers. Our tomato processors feed the world and we are proud that they are located here.

California's peak tomato season is from July through September, but the season actually runs an entire six months, beginning in June and running through November.
